4ac noise.. what is it?

can anyone tell me what this noise is? it sounds like its louder in the front of the engine than in the rear and its not coming from the bottom end. any help is much appreciated!

so after checking my rockers ,valve clearence, water pump,alternator,power steering pump and pullys im starting to think its my oil pump.
im still getting the proper oil pressure according to the gauge so is there any way to actually TEST the oil pump to see if its going bad?

The only real way to tell is to make sure there is not any play in the pump. Just make sure it does not wiggle around just like you would for a water pump or wheel bearings.

That noise sounds an awful lot like a spun bearing to me though.

Well found out what the noise was my balncer.

Yikes. Should definitely check the seals, bearings and crank then. Hopefully someone on hear has a good balancer you can pick up.
