Ok I am building up my little NA 1996 Miata 1.8 but got a few questions..
I bought a turbo and manifold and a box full of intercooler pipes and a intercooler and BOV and wastegate and a custom exhaust and injectors and I plan to get a turbo timer and a couple of guages. I only plan to run a SMALL amount of boost maby...like 5 or 6 pounds. ok here is my question.........
Can I run the car on a stock ecu? Can I got a stock ecu reflashed or tuned?

Im not familiar with that engine but you should have to "trick" the ecu. In the past I have done it with check vales tee in the vacuum sensor. The more boost you will doing the more or larger the check valve needs to be. Like this the vacuum sensor will be just as normal but as soon as there is a positive boost pressure the valve or valves will start to bleed the boost from the sensor.

Cause I seen people build there own MegaSquirt and im not good with electrical. LOL dude I cant even wire up a raido to save my life. So if its electrical were talking about then forget it. I got every ting for a bolt on kit but not sure about stock ecu...

if the turbo's small (t25 ish) and you plan on keeping it below 10 psi i would just use an fmu.
but i dont know what other issues you would have with your mazda electronics. some ecu's dont mind boost like my gm pcm and will read actual airflow via maf and compensate accordingly. if its map based it will probably give you hell.you can use one way check valves in the map vacuum circuit so the map never see's boost and the fmu will add the extra fuel.
dont forget to pull timing at least 1* per pound of boost.
also there might me flashable programers out there for your car most will let you adjust your timing and fuel tables. these normally arent to expensive.
