anyone know anything about this? i.e. can you use a strut bar, are they effective. do they damage anything when towing from that location on the car?

not too many 86 owners use them but i believe they mount on the strut tower and should protrude from the space between the fender and hood.

they mount on the strut tower and you have to cut a hole in the hood. what i want to know is can you use a strut tower bar with it or would you have to extend the studs some how? also would towing the car from that point be to much stress for it and cause damage?

I would say, you might be able to put your strut tower bar over the tow hook? The tow hook looks like a pretty flat surface.

See how much thread you have left with the strut tower bar right now... the Nagisa looks like it's like 1/8" thick. So if there's room for it... i think it'll fit!
