the past few days whenever i turn the lights on sometimes the passenger light stays stuck up and then after messing with the switch a few times it goes down after a while
does this mean the headlight motor is bad or going bad ?

It's possible the linkage arm length needs to be adjusted (I believe shortened) to fix that issue.

Its the rod on the side of the headlight motor the one that raises it adjust it to see if it fixes ur problem. It's very visible the rod right next to the motor u can't miss it.
