rear height adjustable damper stuck...

Ok So I have BC coilovers BR Type all the way around. My problem is the rear dampers are stuck... frozen in place. I'm not talking about the nut/collar that keeps the damper body from moving. I'm talking about adjusting the damper height. Nuts loose but I can't get the body to twist. Anyone have any ideas? I've used half a can of penetrating oil soaking.... waiting soaking.... trying to twist... soaking some more... I'm really frustrated at this point, and also at the point of asking "Why did I even buy coilovers?".

I don't know any help/ideas would be appreciated. :(

Clean it off and try and break it free using rubber strap wrenches.

If it comes clear, clean and anti-sieze the threads.

Not the knob adjustment (soft/hard), not the collar. The actual damper body adjustment. I'll try to post a picture here soon.

I went to take the damper off to maybe get a better angle/grip on the damn thing and got it finally.

I took the bottom damper bolt off, and was trying to wiggle the shock off the bushing. The damn damper started spinning. So Apparently with BC coilovers the rear somehow get into a bind when mounted on the car, and to be able to adjust you have to (or at least I have to) remove or loosen the bottom mounting bolt. I got it last night, but didn't take any pictures, and I'll try to maybe get one today but it's kinda raining outside right now. lol

EDIT: Ok here's a picture I just pull off of the interwebz and used paint to sorta help explain what happened and what I had to do.

I'm not sure I thought I was the only one! LOL

I thought these were designed so adjustments could be made while still attached to the car. Guess not!
