dash lights randomly come on

So for some reason my battery and brake lights come on when my engine gets reved higher then 3k and stay on until I turn my car off

yep it's an an 86 right? i had to change out mine too many times to know lol
but i would also check the wires and connector to the alternator sometimes over time they can get loose i'd check that first make sure everything is tightened down but if not then it's alternator more than likely
