can you put a 4agze super charger on a stock 4ag motor? i was told you could turbo the stock motor up to 10lb before it starts to give out. so would it be ok to slap a super charger on there and then just mess with the gas flow?

you can turbo/supercharge just about anything

no need for a special header or down pipe. sc is belt driven and sits "on top of" or before the intake.

bigger injectors, fuel pump, charge pipes (e.g. intercooler and piping), etc...

so it would be cheaper going sc then turbo? would it be worth it?

just save up a lil more and buy a jdm gze all you need to do is the wiring basically and you can cut a hole in the hood so the inter cooler would fit. and yeah it would be cheaper going sc than just the turbo.

stock 4ag is goo to 10 pounds my freinds mr2 was running 8 on a bone stoke blue top. all you really need is standalone or piggyback ecu, gze injectors, gze intake mani ( I have one ill sell you for $50), supercharger, gze Throttle body, and 7m supra fuel pump

cool. the reason i was wondering is cause i found a sc from a 4agz on ebay for $15o so i started thinking about super charging it.

its pretty easy if you go with standalone mangment or you could always just get a rising rate fuel pressure regulator

what about boost? do you have to worry about boost with a super charger? like do you adj like a turbo. do you have to have a time to let it cool down? ect. i'm new to the whole boost scene.

no not as much they dont get as hot because there isnt exshaust running through it all the time. All you can really do to adjust boost is buy a pulley set from non stop tuning to make it spin faster. I think the stock 4ag crank pulley will make it boost like 9is psi

Actually anytime you compress air it heats up,the sc12 supercharger heats the air much more than a turbo-the air goes through a turbo so fast it really isn't adding to the heat.

this is true sc12's are exspensive compared to turbos when you weigh the benifits
