Hello, i need help in wiring my 4ag carb in kp60.. Background, this engine is transplant from ae86 with a stock ignition system with the support of stock ecu.. Now the engine is in kp60, with kp60 wire loom, since i have stock 4age distributor and coil with igniter only and no ecu,i dont know where the 4 wire from the igniter and wire on the distributor should lead to?? Or should the igniter need an ecu to work?

I haven't met anyone who has been able to use the factory ecu and ignition to work in a carb'd 4ag setting.
First thing is, you'll need to get the appropriate power to the ecu and have the sensor & ecu grounds grounded properly. Also, I believe you'll need either the AFM or the TPS or both hooked up for the ecu to know how much timing to apply at any given state of the motor.
Soooo, if you can get over those hurdles then you should be good to go. Keep in mind, the 4AG distributor system is not a mechanically operated ignition setup. Timing is all handled by the ecu which needs either air flow measurements and/or throttle position in order to apply the appropriate amount of timing at a given rpm.

thanks Dr. Occa, but i wonder how do you do the wiring and what other things is needed since I don't have that 4age loom as you said in other thread
"IGNITION OPTIONS FOR CARBED 4AGE ENTHUSIASTS
1. Use the stock blue top 4AGE distributor locked out at the timing of your choosing."
How to wire this distributor and do it need the igniter, or just the coil alone? i need to wire this up to kp60 of 2k engine wire loom.
Previously when that carb engine was in ae86, i simply hooked up all the wire with ecu connected. i don't need TPS for it to run. i have no idea about how it works.
