AE86 Tech Day?

I am going to a Volkswagen tech day that the local Houston area Volkswagen club came up with to help one another out. We are all getting together at a shop and everyone is bringing their cars and we all pitch in to help one another fix things with the aid of professional techs watching over. Theres going to be engine building, transmission rebuilding, tune up, brake repair and other misc anyones personal car might have going wrong. I kept thinking this is a pretty cool idea and maybe 86 garage could have something similar? Best of all its all free.

I enjoy helping out with corolla's , I'd come even though I don't own one! It seems like I'm always wrenching on one.

they do this for bikes at my dads shop somtimes and it seems like a good idea. Basicaly everyone just gets together and works on each others cars.

it was cool at the volkswagen event, we did so many things to everyones cars.

Why work on just your car when we can all work together to make everyone's car great.
