i have a couple of problems.... when i initiate a drift/hard grip to the left my headlights pop up and come on
also, i can't get my brights to turn off. i was sliding one night and had the brights on and broke the damn lever.
i tried another assembly but that still did nothing
p.s. my car fails mechanically/electronically

just disconnect it by unplugging it, it just dangles behind the light kind of and takes a second you could do that for the time being i guess till u fix it.

have you tried using a hammer?
hvguy says it is a relay stuck. I still think the hammer will repair your troubles.

it is mechanically sound... they go up and down and turn on/off
the problem, if yall would read, is they stay on the brights all the time. so no low beams

brights still won't turn off but i figured out, at least i think, the random on/off issue
the harness i believe is rubbing where it goes through the firewall....

lol, do this, grab some 5/16 hose, cut it to length that would make the size of the firewall hole, then split the hose down the middle and voila! you've got a easy to install firewall grommet!
