{FRESH 1985 MRS}

IDK if you guys remember for the Houston meet back in may 09, a friend of landslide and me (josh) talked to some of you guys about his 1985 MR2, well there's been a lot of work done on the car here's some pics of the car now, ill post some pics of how it looked like before, tell me what y'all think about it.
WORK DONE:
little wight reduction
removal of heat shield above muffler
removal of the sun shield
dual outlet exhaust
open air side scoop
fresh paint
SPORTMAXX 15X8
stretched NEXEN tires
fresh Ferrari red paint job
black gloss black fender flairs and trim
BUDDY CLUB front lip (fiberglass)

those are 15x8 0 offest sportmax's..... but clean aw!!

car looks very clean. if you don't mind me saying so: i personally believe with about a 1-1.5" drop, the wider stance and flares will look even better. what were the benefits of removing the muffler heatshield (outside of weight reduction - which probably is negligible) if you don't mind me asking?

all in all, the car looks good. i love the 1st gens.

diddo! awesome car but would look alot better with the flares wrapping the tires.

There's a coilover kit in the works and some spacers for the back. As for the heat sheild it was actualy cut so that the muffler would fit. And the little grait under the boper was cut off also including the tabs for the sun shield on the back window.
