custom ae86 lip...

Post by ManilaGorilla »

dont let the tittle fool ya... i was able to do more then just make a custom lip monday. ive been taking advantage of my week vacation time to work on my car. just want to let guys know as well what ive been up to with my car and what ive added since i got it.

saturday i brought both of my car at work and swaped all my following suspension parts:
-greddy coilovers
-tein tension rods
-manual rack w/ t3 bushing
-megan inner and outer tie rod
-t3 center roll adjuster
-willwood brakes
-t3 track rod
-the car already have dg trial 4 link so that was a plus

couldnt have done it as quick as i did without my friend though saturday...

then monday did the following at home:
-made custom lip
-installed my goodline side skirt
-put on ueo style fender brace
-cusco front strut bar w/t3 tri add on
-cusco rear tri strut bar
-trimed fender and front bumper for extreme caster

and past week installed the following:
-weir performance spool
-weir performance 4.773 ring and pinion
-origin rear 30mm flare that will gave back (thank you will)
-added 30mm spacer to flush it out
-used a hammer and dolley to roll my front fenders
-installed full interior that my friend gave me off my old red one that my brother gave me that i sold off to him....

after all the part swapping, i test drifted the car with my friends and at our spot tonight and man it feels so nice. it's almost as if the car doesnt want to spin out. i was able to get some pretty extreme angle... not kawabata extreme, but pretty badarse angle. ya, so i have no life... sorry for all the pics.

after installing the all the suspension parts saturday

it's off my shine auto hybrid frp type 2 goodline replica bumper. i like it cause it flares out more then the stock lip... and best part is, no trueno guy i know would be crazy enough to cut up a perfectly good shineauto bumper.

thanks man, cant get rid of the virginia plate just yet... gets me out of trouble. cops take one look at that plate and the first thing that pops on their heads are " i dont wanna do the paper work on this". plus friday, i can get my state inspection under "safety only". then i can transfer my the tittle over. i cant get it registered before inspection.
