nope just as gay, and speaking of special olympics whats wrong with the 3sgte again? dont even say different. im willing to bet you find more f20's in 86s over the 3s. so why would you say its not retarded? seems about the same difference to me.to me your just saying it takes a little more work to be more retarded.

Just saying something is gay doesn't make it so. You have to substantiate your position on a little better credible points than just saying it.

The F20C swap requires more technical savvy and produces far better useful results. Aesthetics isn't the only determining factor. It's like admitting that a girl from Texas who has had plastic surgery but only went to a two year college with a 3.0 gpa in Texas is superior to another Texas girl with natural "good" looks and superior intelligence with a 4.0 gpa because you don't like that she acquired her education from an out of state university.

Actually I disagree Ted.

The 3SGTE stock bottom end is good to just around 600whp before rods start bending.

The F20C stock bottom end with a 3mm thicker headgasket has been documented at hitting over 700whp. Here.

I'd say the F20C is a better cake and pie, so far.

hit and miss on those f20's i got a buddy who sent a rod though the block on a stock one. i believe it was just a poor casting, one in a few thousand kind of thing....

as far as the 3sgte is concurned ive seen 4agze rods hold down 600whp on the dyno. i bet the 3sgte's are bigger....actually ill get back to you here.

We need to start buying these things up and restoring them back to a toyota front end and de-rice them!
3S>F20 IMO, I'm looking at doing the 3S-GE Beams w/6-speed from the Altezza, I've seen great results with just the N/A 3S-GE, I don't think I've seen a 86 with the 3S-GTE performing on the track but im sure it would be just as good or better than the f20, and plus I think it would be a tad overkill to have 700 hp in an 86, even for D1, IMO.
