Re: what you guys think bout these wheels
15's are perfect for the 86 wheel base but those tires for sure look too big haha i'd get a smaller set of tires and you should be fine. Also roll the fenders (I'd assume you have already) and depending on your suspension setup run a stiffer spring rate to prevent the suspension travel also to prevent the chassis from moving up and down too much and you should be fine

Bought the rims with tires already on. Maybe ill try trading/selling the tires. But yeah, fenders are already rolled a bit for my other 15x8's. Just gonna need some spacers for the front and maybe ill have to cut the fenders and get some fender flares to run these danm 15x8's on the front cause they rub way to much.

gotcha, if you have a tire shop around your area ask them if they'd be willing to trade that could workdrift wrote:Bought the rims with tires already on. Maybe ill try trading/selling the tires. A nice fender pull and some skinnies those would look right at home... minus being American Racing. lol
Re: what you guys think bout these wheels
My wifes uncle owns a used car dealer/auto shop so i usually get all my tire balancing, mounting, and what not for free. Well, i wouldnt say free since i do buy him some balancing weights cause thats what i use the most but yeah, probably gonna ask him first. Also, still contiplating on the fender pull. I have extra fenders and not worried but just dont really want to pull the quarter panel. We'll see before may 25 since thats the next drift event/car show.

Re: what you guys think bout these wheels
Wouldn't mind going with that size tires but im cheap amd there going to get shredded up anyways. I have some 195/50 on the other set of 15x8 and they didnt rub as bad as I thought. Thinking I might go that route again but these has a more aggressive offset than the other set. We'll see since im broke right now I might just go head and use these last and raise the car up when I put these onAznTKDmstr wrote:165/45 on this would be cherry. hahaha

I got 205/45R16 on my 8" and it may be what your looking for. Not too much stretch, but not too much tire
