My composite bodied shell sold to a guy that drags his 2jz'd corolla-to make class min weight he's taking the 2j out and sticking it in mine.Its currently making 850hp but should be making 1000hp when it debuts in the spring.

that's just crazy ! tom, does the guy have a build or any web coverage of this?

I dunno lol, but I bet the motor weighs near what the shell does . That must be an obscenely fast car.

I think he said his steel shelled car with the required cage was near or over 3000lbs,also uses a ford 9 inch rear so thats beefier as well.
Not sure what class he runs in since I don't care much for drag racing,but I think his class minimum was 2700lbs.
