good work collin. here's a question; on the down pipe, why pie cuts over sectioned mandrel bends say from a 180° piece of ss? i'm asking because i want to understand the method behind the madness.

cant get the bends nearly as tight with mandrel bends also he doesn't have a bender

understand about the tight quarters. i was picturing ordering the 180° mandrel piping from like jcwhitney, summit and the like.

looking forward to seeing it in action again.

oh, pm sent on different topic.

you could order bends but with a complicated path like the one my downpipe take it ends up being easier just buying a long stragiht peice and making it go exactly where it needs to

one of two reasons to the pie/miter cuts. #1 trying to keep wills cost to a minimum by using straight pipe rather then spending a ass ton of money on 304lss 3" bends, also for the amount of space to mount a 3inch down pipe is very hard to do. so miter cuts for the win! thanks for tha comments!
