the seats is about all i like from it. its kinda to futuristic. i like a car with bumpers on it. a more defined body line insted of making everything run off from the top straight to the floor. the inside looks like they tried to hard to make it look futuristic.

not a big fan of the Krull-esque wheels.
the body line resembles the concept supra. it's ok. just too I-Robot for me.
it's too bad they didn't revamp the original body lines and offer a trueno and levin model: trueno with sunken lights not unlike the amemiya style fc/d kits and the levin solid face spectacles similar to the new camry just for example.
still would have liked a better successor to the 4AG in it rather than a boxer. it just comes off as a cross platform engine swap e.g. F20, SR, etc...

The car is literally a parts bin special, just like the original 86. The only difference is now its the subaru parts bin. The chassis is from the legacy, and its shortened. The engine is from the impreza, and it makes power (and more importantly, its light! definitely lighter than a 4AG). The suspension is decent.
The goal for the car was 1100kgs I think. Thats 2400lbs, which is about the same as a heavy AE86 GT-S. However, its lower, wider and shorter.
If you want an AE86, you have to buy an AE86. There is no modern replacement. If you want something that is brand new, and follows the same philosophy, you can buy this.

oh wow... now Scion is taking over? so now it's a toyota/subaru/scion? lol wtf is going on with this? someone afraid it's not going to sell well so they just pass it onto the next company? haha wow.

I thought scion was some branch of toyota. I figure they're doing it to boost the sells of scions.
