do your regular brake lights come on when you press on the brake? if not, check the brake switch located above the brake pedal

yea the brake lights work fine so since they worked i assumed the fuses were good cause if they were bad the lights wouldn't even come on but i changed em out anyway but if the switch was bad the brake lights wouldn't come on im assuming so maybe it's something else im stumped

make sure there is no corrosion on the terminals of the connector and in the socket make sure they are connected correctly then start continuity checking the wires to there power source and ground source checking the grounds while your there. also make sure your running the right bulb.

it seems like the inside part of the socket pops in and out a lot i don't think it's supposed to come out too much for some reason the connector on the side of the socket isn't getting power but the other side is fine so it's either the connector on that side or the socket but im going to the junkyard tomorrow sometime and see what i can find hopefully i can get this working so i can see this funny stencil lol

i understand well do what you gotta but now i need help figuring out why this light wont work it's way over my head seems like it isn't getting power checked the grounds and it's good not really sure what could have randomly happened if i never touch it O_o

any ideas/suggestions?

the bulb is good, i checked the wiring with the voltimeter and it didn't have any jump in the reading (im new to this) had 3 other ppl check it and 2 said one side had power and the other side with the socket wasn't getting power and 1 said that there isn't any power but i dunno how that can just randomly happen im pretty stumped on this one
