Got my old gal back

Finally, after trading over a year ago I finally got her back!

Sadly she's in horrible condition. Almost as bad as when I first bought her.

Clutch engagement is wrong, Clutch Master cylinder needs to be adjusted. The engine hesitates when cruising causing a jerking motion, bogging at higher RPMS, wait no thats normal 4ac  Alternator not charging I suspect.

Back in the day when I had my GT-S lip and baby rims.

The nicest driveway I've ever seen!

The orignal engine condition (It did not have a air cleaner on the carb when I bought her)

Back up car for now, I want to change the timing belt, waterpump, clutch on the Paseo and I'll be able to daily this to work while I'm doing that. I'm wanting to swap for a toyota van rearend with a "said to be" higher gear ratio but otherwise same as a stock sr5 rearend. I also want to swap out the tired 4ac for a 4age with mega squirt, I'm wanting ITB's with a dry shot but thats $$$$$$$

SR5 or nothing.

A few of the current ugly pictures from PO (previous owner) doing's.

(I caused most of this damage, the non complete nasty repair was PO)

Cresida meshies on the front and some pizza cutters on the back.

I'm having charging issues but it has a new battery and alternator. I need to find some time to work on it

All I need to do now is gut this hatch and do some comparable 0-60 runs vs hvguys power pack 4ac, because this 4ac runs damn good with the NOS Toyota dealership carb. I miss the high ratio gt-s rearend :(

yeah some SR5's came w/ or w/o the external voltage regulator. mine did not.

alex, if yours does, just check and make sure its connectors are secure and all contacts are being made.

*editor's note:i removed one of your pics that was stupid big.

I'm pretty sure you can't see from the pictures but it has a internal regulator. Its my beleif I have a parasitic drain somewhere and the alternator has taken a dump. I don't remember any of the ae86 chassie using a external voltage regulator.

my 84 sr5 had a internal. I don't think any of the ae86's had external. Maybe the AE72's and the TE's, KP's ect. had them.
