DailyDrifter 8-17-08 pics

Post by scrapp »

Hi everyone, I'm new to this forum, but I been around other places.

I'm sorry my images wont be the best. To be honest I've NEVER really done, or practiced moving shots, so officially this is my first time. I actually did these photos for a project due Tomorrow morning! (I'm in school for photography.)

Now that Ive been able to go over my images, I notice mistakes I was making (I needed slower, more steady pans.) I wish I could go back and redo them.
(plus it does not help that all my equipment is quite old. being poor FTL.)

I'm only going to put up a few that I really like, I took so many images, I reset the counter on my camera, haha!

EDIT: wow... I only indented to post up 10 images or so... Now that I look... What the hell is this??

scrapp, thanks for sharing the pics.

for a first time shoot at a drift event, you look to be getting quite the hang of it.

Image
^^^this one is really good...and looks dangerously close. for me, that adds to the picture. of course it could've been zoomed on a tri but still, it's shots like these that a photographer should "live" for.

great work. if brad saw these he'd have a big smile on his face that someone pointed the camera at him as much as you did...better yet, don't tell them they're around. his head's already big enough as it is. if it gets any bigger, he'll float away and we may never see him again...on second thought, tell him.

hey, if you don't mind, post up a quick hello in the introductions section.

they may change their minds but consider 8/17 the LAST dailydrifter event.

That was the last event @ GGP EVER!!! We will help Josh (from Neverslow) run the event @ GGS so technically that will be the last event.

Pec, that is Brads 16 valve 8) .

Brad is silly.

And you should get together with "chixwithtrix" she's the babe running around with the sony HD telescope. You can find her on youtube and elsewhere.
