I like this setup, I was talking with hondarue last night and he gave me the idea of instead of using a vr sensor on the 16v why not use a dummy dizzy? It would look like the 20v swaps when guys dont want to bang in their fire wall. thoughts?
Ted, sorry I'm just now responding to this. The only issue with using a dummy distributor is mounting the appropriate trigger wheel in it. It would have to be a 72-2 trigger wheel and a small one at that. At high rpms the signal becomes VERY shallow which then leads to very poor spark performance if even any.
The reason for the 72-2 trigger wheel is because for every 1 revolution of the crank the distributor makes a 1/2 revolution.
