87inaustin : Thanks for the heads up!! :) , have you got any luck with any company. Mind to share?
I source one manual rack, but might want to go with the fresh one.

bt20v : Thanks for the info, I'm not putting the rack on myself, and I don't really have time to rebuild it.. can I ship you the used rack and you can rebuild 1 for me ? :) I'll pay for the labor + shipping. That's why I try to find refurbish rack, so it can be plug and play.

Thank you all for inputs. :)

I had asco do it in Dallas but after doing that i could have done it my self its litterally wipe off old grease and add new. I really didnt need to have it rebuilt...I can see what they will charge now for a rebuild and get back to you.

I bought mine from the first link you have posted. i didnt return a core and had no issues doing so. when i got my rack it had the long FWD inner tie rods. I got new inner and outer tie rods from McKenney for like 30 bux I bought this one because it said it was actually for the corolla and not a mr2 since the mr2 apparently has a shorter inner rack

dont buy the first one it is too short. it is not for the rwd corollas

sounds great, I'll give the first link a shot. I got used manual rack, but will send my shop some option to choose.

Got Moog outer tie rod part# ES2243R? is this one correct or ES2382?
Any one tried any of these moog outers?

McKenney is a great source for import parts. He's got a database of part numbers at his finger tips daily, literally.
