Yea that's what in going to do. I should probably pick it up soon before he gets rid of it. I wish I had cash to put an ls6 into the transam. Then id have a spare ls1 to rebuild.

if you got on ls1 tech you would know that all you need to be ls6 is the cam heads and intake. all of witch can be had cheap. but then again why go ls6. put a comp thumper cam in a 5.3 and you will see a 94 hp gain. thats 415 chp for 750 bucks. and you get a whole nother motor. screw the aluminum block. it only weighs 60 pounds less the iron block. dont forget me and mick have the hptuner. we can do some timing adjustments to the ta now if you want.

I'd still like to see an AE92 done up as an FR.

I still think it was a pretty good looking car. Kinda wish I had done something with it. It didn't handle as well as I thought it did though, so it's probably wasted effort to try. Even with the coilovers and what not, I was still cornering at higher speeds in my stock 98 trans am, and I wasn't even pushing the trans am. That turbo ae92 was fun as hell though. Like an over powered go cart lol.
