Got the car about a year ago. Came
with a 3tc 4speed, xxr 513's, crap interior,
and rust holes all over the floor pans.
Here's a video of how it looked before I bought it:
The day I took it home
I left it the way as it was for a while but I decided to patch up the floors and got to
install my friend's old 944 seats (pictures on those later).
New brake/fuel lines and gas tank included.
Random Pics
6/13/13
As of now, the car is parked inside since the carbs not feeding fuel and the engine is
pretty much dead. I decided to buy a new 4age 20v silver top (pics on that another day) and
will most likely stick to a t50 (if I can find one) and save a w58 for another day. Other things
I plan to put are the coilpacks, manifold, blacktop ecu, & waterline kit. Keep an eye out
for it. This is my first swap but I plan on doing it soon. Let me know what
you guys think about it

I used to think the same. Then I found out the "T" stands for 3TC and the KE70 has the 4K engine. Thanks for the feedback guys.
I've seen these with the 20v too, I'm just worried the swap will be out of my budget

These are the porsche 944 seats installed. they're a tight fit but they're pretty comfy and got them for cheap
Will install a GT woodgrain and some gauges once I'm done with the swap
Here's some pics of the old 3tc in it right now. I'll be scrapping it for change with the t40 once it's out if you guys are interested i'll keep you posted
and here's the new 4age 20v silvertop. Want to put trumpets so I'm gonna have to buy a blacktop ecu
So I just bought a new gas tank, but I hear you need a gts fuel pump. You guys know if I could just run it the current one with another universal electric fuel pump? just curious

yeah not gonna lie, the 3tc is a good engine, but all of my cars have had carburetors and I always get problems from them
one way or another. But goodluck with your choice

you can run your factory fuel tank but you will have to upgrage the the main fuel line to 5/16 hard line an use the the factory fuel line as the return oh an because there is nothing to keep the fuel sloshing around you might look into gettin a surge tank feel free to check out my build in the build section i swaped a 20v bt into my 84 sr5 corolla oh and if you wanna run stacks your gonna need a bt ecu and harness with a mar sensor.

get on Autopartswarehouse.com and order one for an efi(GTS) ae86. bolts into the 80-83 chassis as well. You can sell yours to offset the cost.
