Anyone trimmed non LSD axles?

Has anyone on here trimmed their NON LSD axles to work with a stock LSD? Is it pretty straightforward? What tool did you use to cut it, how did you cut it? (was it a straight cut, did you taper it?) Im 99% sure im getting a stock LSD from some guy on C4ag, and i just wanted to know how to EXACTLY cut the axle the right way.

Hey man. Migs did it and had an article about it on his website:

Looks like you can cut it with an angle grinder and then you have to taper the end. You could prolly drop him an email too, he's a super cool dude.

yes you can trim them down. IIRC it is something like 5-8mm
