well got rid of the hatch. it was wrecked and old. needed update!

so i did this
New car new build

Stock 87 sr5 coupe

work began!

stitch welded

then swap in suspension. Brakes, tension rods, sway bar, shocks ect ect ect

MUAHAHAH

this car has a full heater and full interior BALLER

removed the ca

clutch. 4 months of drifting and abuse. never broke it in. drove it hard from day one!

crazy heater loop

so anyways. this is my new coupe. full gts swap, heater, complete interior minus carpet, full stereo, same ca18det same running gear suspension ect. basicly shell swapped.

update:

Been SUPER cold. 17 degree right now! crazy.

anyways been driving this puppy. its pretty chill with full interior, bride bucket, race car gauge cluster setup and a crazy fast ca18!

did do a bit of a speed run. did about 160 just to see what it could do lol.

I enjoy coupes so much more. car is stitch welded in the engine bay and it feels solid. i want to weld the whole car when i cage it! Its going to get a full formula D legal cage built up. I plan to keep this chassis clean and nice for a whole drift season.

Plan to add a BIGGER turbo. as i see it now, the hks spools about 3500rpm, which is ok. so a t3 of similar size cant be to much more laggy. but i want a TOP mount t3 turbo with a crazy manifold and downpipe. plus a top mount is way cool. planning to try to break the 400whp mark. already broke 300whp. so time to shoot for 400whp!

Ok so updates....good news really!

so i THOUGHT i had sold the hatch. but then the buyer ditched out on me. the shitty part was he had towed it to his girl friends house cus i didnt have space. he broke up with her like a week later and just left the shell. so i get calls, saying to get my car. was like wtf i sold it.

anyways talked with them, they just want it gone, so do I. so i cut the cage out, sold the rear windows, hatch, suspension, cross members, doors and all the good parts and its getting town away on monday at 9am. so im going to weld the cage in my coupe and change it around make it nicer and cleaner and better welds and it will be done!
