you can can do the inside with some aircraft paint remover faster and easier or just get a small orbiter sander and a 30 gallon compressor. you can use the orbiter on the outside as well. a belt sander is just going to create rough straight lines in the paint or metal and will be easier to mess up a stright panel. as opposed to an orbiter sander which makes nice round sand scratches. it is also alot easier to manuaver.

yeah the innside is a bitch if you want it to look good orbital sander is the best way to sand the inside and out although you will have to do a lot of it by hand due to space and texture. belt sanders ftl

I wouldnt recommend used aircraft paint remover, that get's very messy and hard to clean up and your bound to get some on u and it itches like crazy. A little hand sander would do. Sand blasting is something else that is too much work because you have to seal and primer the surface along with painting it.

my battery was tied down horribly first of all i put on bunjee cords which i got from this nice guy who let me have some doing tech inspection with alex. the plastic end of the cord was pushing up against the hood and made it stuck for some reason then the small plastic ball piece that keeps the cord in place on the latch broke off and the hood got stuck.

i got worried incase the battery would hit the hood and make a fire and not being able to open it so some guy helped me out and let me use his tools to take the latch off to get it to open which would keep it shut so their was another prob so we just took it off.

i fixed it now since i have no grill with sleepy eyes it looks cooler i tied a metal wire to the latch which i pull by hand from the front to open it. plus i do have to admit seing the engine while sitting in the car looks awesome plus it shreds more weight off free rather than paying alot for a cf hood :D im serious i see no point to it if i wanted it for looks i could just get the cf vynil and cover my hood with it but eh makes no diff to me.
