put it in your 86 dammit
i really don't want to spend the money and time fabbing it in there.... i know it wouldn't take much but i'll just stay 16v
good thinking rob the way gas prices are looking i want to stay with my 16v for a loooong time. hell i might even buy a cumins turbo diesel engine and swap that in instead and get my own bio diesel reactor and just make vegetable bio diesel

bio diesel is not very friendly with those bosch injector pumps. They are designed to work with high sulfur diesel. at 700 a pop those injector pumps do become pricey. /THREAD THEIF

Nice corolla! I think you couldn't have gotten a better daily driver if you tried.
don't call me a thread thief you bum why do you only get on me for this when i was adding on to what other people where talking about i think its best you leave that to the mods and i don't appreciate you calling me out i was not talking to you, go suck off your vw buddies. your a traitor for selling your toyota for a lawnmower engine powered- VW. aircooled FTL, and theres a reason they dont use air cooled engines in practical situations...they suck oh yeah and you got your 1 wheel wonder 30hp or whatever the hell it was ass kicked by an atv at dyno day that about sums it up.

inspite of my thread getting re-directed ;) and you and me passing like ships in the night, i did get home w/o issue. after moving a few wires in the dash and under the hood, got the starter to come on. the ignitor was hot! it probably wasn't liking the plugs and ancient wires (they were rock hard when i finally put in new ones - NGK plugs and wires are tops!). car likes.

thanks though will.

anyway, rear bearings arrived 2 days ago (clearance sale for both sides off of rockauto.com - $36 shipped!).

NGK wires arrived yesterday and are now in.

13" Grant leather steering wheel on the way (picked up the install kit from a nearby autozone. looks like the kit had been sitting on the shelf for quite a while from all the dust on it).

new front rotors going in this weekend ($13 each - solid rotors though).

EMPI stinger swivel exhaust on its way. The exhaust will get done up maybe during the following week or weekend.

H4 conversion housings w/ bulbs on the way.

=) nice exhaust choice.

but if the noise becomes unbarable- you can rig something like mine up. Old fart cans sounds entirely different when they have a long tube attached to them.
