Re: NE ae86
That's pig rich I'd say. AFR should be no richer than 12 at WOT.
Re: NE ae86
yes indeed I'm not sure what's causing this crazy rich mixture... leaning towards the factory FPR is being over ran by the 255 lph fuel pump. I created a thread in the 16v section asking about FPRs.
not 100% sure if I need to go with a 1:1, 12:1, rising rate etc. that seems to work the best with the 4agze.

Re: NE ae86
i loved the sounds... supercharged must be nice. you didnt have to high rev it at all.
Re: NE ae86
thanks guys! The supercharger is REALLY nice. 2nd gear all the way through. I was dipping into the 3rd a few times before the long slide. 148 HP and 156 ft. tq to the ground is quite nice! Still need to get the bigger pulleys... lol damn it.

Re: NE ae86
Due to some personal issues between the president of South Dakota Drift and I.... I will no longer be participating in SDD events. This thread may or may not get updated anymore just due to loss of motivation to make any other changes to my car. There's no real point to continue on with alterations if I can not fully utilize the car to what it's built purpose is. Just thought I would post something about me not getting on forums much more from here on out. Also I need to disconnect myself from the internet...

Re: NE ae86
so this fun stuff happened last week!
I kept hearing this "popping" noise as if something was binding up on the axle when going up steep slopes at an angle (ie. my driveway), but could never figure out where it was coming from. Welllllllllll it finally gave out, and FINALLY figured out what was causing that noise.
Soooooo it's since been welded back on with 1/4" steel plates on the outside of the bracket. Welded it to the bracket, and to the axle for added support. Hopefully that won't happen again. haha seems a lot more stable as well. It's kind of nice. Gotta love drifting and the various stresses it puts on these chassis/parts. haha. I'm in the process of buying my own Miller 135 MIG welder as well.
Also lifting the car for some winter preperation hahaha!!!
Another little update... I ordered this as well from NST. THe overdrive pulley's for the 4agze. We shall see what that does once it arrives in Nebraska. I wanted to keep the clutch pulley on the supercharger so it doesn't run EVERY second the car is on. Basically to help prolong the life as long as possible.
Next part on the list I want to buy is Techno Toy Tuning's Lower Control Arms! Things are starting to happen again with the red beast.

Almost sounds like some R.A.P. (Redneck Asian Pursuasion) with that statement.
And yes things are appenin'!!
Hopefully the added boost will lean out top end. I'm kinda of excited for a little more power.
