air purge for your coolant.

when you flush and replace your coolant, just gradually open it as the car runs and when you have a "laminar" stream of coolant coming out you're pretty much bubble free.

Todays work:

Coated the manifold with some high heat paint to avoid rusting as well. Hopefully it works ok.

Didnt get as much done on the A/C today as I wanted to but it does blow air right now. Does anyone know if the divertor in the middle has some sort of duct that goes to the dash for the vents? I just dont see it lining up correctly where the vents start out.

And I need to piece to extend the defroster to the passenger door as well if anyone has that piece.

OOOOOOOH.. dashhhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh. Id probably use my UPS account to ship the stuff. If you let the dash go Id probably see about picking it up though just to avoid large shipping fees.

So is an 88 MR2 motor with 40k on it for $995 to my door a good price? Im assuming its a USDM version. Since Im just using the block, is it going to have the right pistons/rods in it Im looking for? or do I need to go straight JDM everything?

i would say no if its not a gze.

if its not a gze it should be the same motor as yours as the 88 89 corolla gts still sported a bigport.

Its a GZE according to the motor people. Are all GZE's the same other than oil squirters?

the usdm models have slightly lower compression but everything is basically the same in the lower end.
