Yess but the turbo is leaking oil with only about 2 lbs of boost.

did you tap and drill the pan? dont use the stock oil cooler drain its too small and will cause oil to back up.also make sure there is no restrictor needed for your turbo.turbine piston seals are easy to replace. you can pick one up at turbochargers .com for 12 bucks.

also when you spin the shaft how much resistance is there? how long does it spin after you let go.

Yea the drain goes direct from turbo to pan at the highest point.
Hmm there isnt any play in the shaft. As far as how long it spins Ill check later. These winter days suck. I get home and have about 30 min of light to work with.

Yep all the way down to the cruising foot rest.

just to make sure pull your pressure line off after you run it for a couple of mins and make sure oil is not backing up into the turbo.i had some smoking issues because of something restricting the return line and when i pulled pressure line the turbo was full to the brim with oil.just make sure you shut it off first. if you know its not a drain issue or too much flow going in like bb turbos then its the turbine piston seal thats failed.if theres too much oil in the centersection it the piston seal will not hold. if there is any pressure at all in the centersection it will smoke and if the oil passages arnt verticle within 5 or 10 * it will smoke. the piston seals go out alot in t25s if you pull the impeller and turbine shaft out, the cup that falls out on the turbine side will be full to the brim with crispified oil sludgy isht. clean it out slap on a new piston seal on the shaft and throw it back together. MAKE SURE TO INDEX EVERYTHING. out of balance turbo's will toast the bearings in just a couple weeks.


as for lack of pressure make sure your wastegate is not missadjusted. if your turbo is spooling but theres no boost put a boost leak tester on it and you will be amazed at what you find.i got one if you need it.tell greg to bring it with him on his way back into town if you dont want to make trip.
