And to Jonas... what kind of suspension work are you recomending?

I have TRD 8K's up front and Swift 6K's in the rear, camaro shocks, Whiteline panhard bar, UEO front strut bar, RCA's and a Cusco 2-way. I have the T3 strut tube spacers for sw20 front struts and those are coming up next but I'm up for suggestions...
NICE RIDE!!
There are 2 things that will always give you a hard time on this engines...one is the stuck starter motors due to exhaust heat. The other is finding a way to remove air from the Coolant. The idle air valve adjust when the coolant reaches operating temperature. However, the IAV works on water/coolant temperature and not "AIR" stuck in the system...and it is a bitch to get it out.
You can try ti fill it in from the block drain cock but will have to "make" a hook-up for the house.

Now, vaccum leaks will "trigger" this effect due to the leak allowing higher RPM...as it approached that 1500 RPM mark and if the cooling system has air, there you get that oscillating effect. So I ca'mt wait to go ITV's and stand alone comp...bye bye iddle air valve!!

went to Mineral Wells today to run the car for the first time. made it through the first lap okay. 1/3 of the way through the second lap and...................

front passenger side tire rubbed up against the tab where the soft brake line connects to the hard line.

Image

also caused the top hat to break
