Engine broken in, clutch broken in. Still fiddling with Weber 32/36. mixture screw is 4turns out so I am waiting on my primary idle jets to come in the mail. The R1 carbs are still the final set-up though. This 1/8th mile time was with a low 2000rmp launch. My bro-in-law launched at 4000rpm and cut the 60' time by 1.46sec but he missed 2nd gear leaving him at 10.50sec in the 1/8th.

Na. I'll have to get some footage next time. It feels like it's leaning out on the top end. I'd have to put on my A/F ratio guage on to be sure. Been procrastinating on that.

My universal, brittle, plastic radio bracket broke and I found these stock Toyota metal ones on EBAY that I didn't know existed. It also came with the cubby compartment under the radio for 35 bux.

Damn, a 10.1 in the 1/8! That's pretty quick. My SRT4 ran that with just an intake, well done.

I think I could get into the 9's with a little tuning. Learning as I go with this carb thing. As soon as time allows, i'll be mounting the A/F ratio gauge.

Where are you installing that?

Under the radio, but I have to replace the cubby pocket with the gage bracket. It screws on to the radio brackets.

The Innovate gages have a flashing feature that you set in case you run lean, or hot, or low voltage depending on which gage you purchase.

Mine will be Autometer Oil Press and eventually Water Temp, definitely need them in LOS and I'm not a fan of removing my vents.

I blew a hole in my exhaust this morning. Possibly from running to rich I'm guessing. I don't want to buy another system just yet. Has anyone had personal experience with similar dilemma? Proven solution?
