I decided to go ahead and start on the Electric Fan conversion So I got a little jump start on that. Got the relays wired up and the wires marked where they go.

My friend that had the sandblasting machine REALLY wanted to paint it as well so I did haha. figured if he let me in on some sandblasting of my rusted ass oil pan I'd let him do that. he asked what color and I told him to surprise me... haha. He told me he was working on a little sumpin sumpin .... confused slightly... I let it go. Kinda started to get a little worried as he had it for a day and half... and well this is the outcome hahaha. It's "hachi-roku" in japanese or 8-6 for those who have lived under a rock or missed that in initial d!

Everything put on the engine minus the alternator bracket which should be here the end of the week or beginning of next.

Dropped the engine in got everything lined up and didn't mount it down yet. Just in case I need to pull it back out for some reason. Figured out that I need to extend my ECU plugs. They were going to get replaced anyways off the 99 Corolla harness I picked up. Which thanks to Shubert he let me in on that little secret. anyways here's a pic kind of maching up the intercooler piping.

just been doing some wiring and making sure there isn't any breaks in the wires on the harness as I guess that's one of the biggest issues they have.

got the MAP sensor... probably won't work but I'm down to try it.

Currently waiting on....

oil cooler
alternator bracket
Ignitor
some 14" wheels oh yyyaaaaa going large! lol

currently working on this weekend....

wiring
intercooler piping/mounting
fuel pump
bolt the trans back up and tighten up the motor mounts. the engine bay is going to look (1124124^12\13(7*34)) all square root multiplied by 500 times better than it did. slowly but surely it's getting there.... if I had access to all the parts and didn't have to wait for them to all be shipped I'd be up and going already.... damn it :(

ok well I got my alternator bracket, a 7mgte ignitor, and my wheels.

the oil cooler should be here this week sometime.

I'm currently trying to figure out why I am not getting any spark what-so-ever on any cylinder. kinda sucks... but I'm currently attempting to hunt down why there's no spark. the coils seem good. getting 1 ohm resistance on each. Seen the same numbers on others throughout the interweb. The igniter was tested on a supra before being sent to me. it's getting 12 volts but either the ECU, CAS or Ignitor is not sending the singal.... trying to figure out if the ECU is even reciving the signal from the CAS currently on G1 and G2.

AAHHHHHHH why in the living hell is the G1, G2, Ne wires from the CAS have continuity to B+ on the ignitor when the key is ON!!!??!?! Those should be going to IGd-A..... buuuttt nnnnoooooo they go to B+... wtf!?! When the key is OFF continuity between those dies but I get Continuity between B+ on the ignitor and G- on the CAS.

this is seriously frustrating.... wtf! CAS checks out to be good... ignitor was running in a 92 supra last wed/thursday. ECU..... that's a good question.... but I'm not getting the signal wires to the correct wire!

No spark.... cant find an ecu....and here's to 60 hours of troubleshooting with no results. Car is going into a field and getting parked for who knows how long. So you can lock this up dr. Occa.

don't really want to mess around with tuning a stock engine to run... stock lol.

dude take a breather...step away from it for a couple days. You know its down to the ECU or the CAS...so try and source the ecu first and go from there...

Also check the pins and the harness, make sure a connector isn't loose or you have an open.

Well I might go get it from the field once the ecu and CAS get here, but we'll see. I'm a little sick of seeing it NOT run. not saying I'm giving up on it... just my way of getting away from it. Since I can't seem to walk away. Put the car 25 miles away in a field and bam problem solved. It's not easily accessible to me.

Yea you need to just throw a trap over the car. Have a relaxing week off, even go out and do some car things like go to a drifting event. That always gets the spark back in me

lol I wish I could go chill at a drift event. within 500 miles... there's a couple drift events in Colorado later in the year... and South Dakota has 5-6 events but the first one isn't til April 28th or 29th. I'm trying to get this up and running to get to the SD events.... but I don't know if that will happen yet or not. 2000 miles is a lot to put on in 2-3 weeks That also is if a different ECU and/or different CAS works... and if I decide to go get it.
