So my friend and i are building a 85 corolla gts that is getting built for drifting this car was almost stock before my friend got it off my other friend

he didnt have it for 3 weeks when he wanted to boost it i told him to wait but nope he didnt and he has never boosted a car before and blow it up #4 rod bearing called it a day and turned in flakes

#4 rod cap on the left got so hot it went black as you can see the one on the right is what it should look

tuan, is the hyd-handbrake still tied into the e-brake cables? if so, aren't you at all concerned about wearing out the cylinder and eventually developing fluid leak when parking her or are you guys just going to park it in gear?

the nice thing about this setup is the stock cable's will all hook up and work like stock so on the street pull the pin and the hydro will just sit there on the track back off the cable and put the pin back in and hydro e brake for drifting
