no its actually the new ae86 i even had a thread about it on 86 garage somewhere and they said it would be a mix with Subaru my thoughts of it is i hate it i cant stand this new look the companies are going for with bulky futuristic looking cars what happened to the awesome boxy looking cars like the 86 or ta22 or te72 i still remember the early 90's as a little kid which was somewhat like the 80's and i can tell you this life was so much better back then i cant even explain i wish i lived my teen years in the 80's the cars the cheaper gas the clothing style the tacky looking furniture and home designs the all around life style wheres a back to the future delorean when you need one

Yeah Toyota own part of Subaru 16%
Also known as fuji heavy industries

They also own 51% of daihatsu, 25% of denso, 23% of Aisin Seiki. Thats pretty smart to own some of the company that your parts come from.

it's not my ideal body styling for what i had hoped the "new 86/celica" would be BUT i agree with pecx and i plan and hope to secure one.

the 80's were fun as a teenager. so many silly adventures & great music.

^I think you mean "procure" one. lol Anyway, I hope to get one too here's my reason why:
New car smell.
Incredible.
Carefully designed.
Excellent wieght also wieght distribution

Can actually tell that IS a retro design.
AE86 all the way, not a AEcelicrap
Retro REVIN REVIVAL BABY YEA!!!

SUBARU+TOYOTA= GREAT SCOTTS!!!

if i meant procure i would have used procure. instead i used another synonym.

remember, i graduated back when it was common to read books and reference the dictionary and thesaurus.

its not like any of us would have the money to buy it hahahah

Yeah, if you think ae86s are pretty theres something wrong with you, they may be cool looking but not pretty.

I think like many cars, this car will grow on people.

if the prices are reasonable, i'll be driving to my local dealership and trading in my corolla S

you forgot that we built our own cars from scratch and killed grizzlies with our bare hands. you can't forget that.
