First off this is going on a red top non tvis 4age.
I know this is alot to ask but I want to see how far I can get on this and wvat are the advantages and dissatvantages of these 2. Im looking to get close to or even at the point of 150 hp WITh OUT ThE BUILDING OF ThE hEAD AND BLOCK??
1.First off...which one will require the less work and wiring?
2.Will ITB even get me anywhere even if I dont biuld or work on the head?
3. I know 150 is alot for a natural aspirated car. But I say hKS cams , headers , exhaust and pobbibly cam gears for tunning. but if I add ITB will I even be close to 150?
4. I know going turbo will get me there but can it be done and be done right where I am not going to blow the engine?
5. Adding ITB and nothing else is there a gain in power or torque at all?
I ask this cause I can get a turbo real cheap and a turbo manifold and all the piping for the turbo build real cheap but I like the way a 4AG sounds on ITB. So im stuck on this decision.

probably a slight gain w/ a stand alone. stand alone is requiredDjSpecter wrote:2.Will ITB even get me anywhere even if I dont biuld or work on the head?
possible, depending on the cams and valve train setup and proper tuningDjSpecter wrote:3. I know 150 is alot for a natural aspirated car. But I say hKS cams , headers , exhaust and pobbibly cam gears for tunning. but if I add ITB will I even be close to 150?
certainlyDjSpecter wrote:4. I know going turbo will get me there but can it be done and be done right where I am not going to blow the engine?
a possible overly lean condition on stock ecu. so a gain with a lean mix is slight but short lived. NOT RECOMMENDED. stock ecu wouldn't know what to do with all the extra air flow.DjSpecter wrote:5. Adding ITB and nothing else is there a gain in power or torque at all?
hopefully, you're less stuck now.DjSpecter wrote: I ask this cause I can get a turbo real cheap and a turbo manifold and all the piping for the turbo build real cheap but I like the way a 4AG sounds on ITB. So im stuck on this decision.
