Noob driver?? once again like you said you have not even seen me drive before. And when did this even turn in to a NST drift demo it was just a suggestion. I agree you might have worked hard to get where you are right now and well thats good for you. I am a local at the autocross meets and local events here in San Antonio and I have been to a drift track is San Marcos called Harris Hill Road and yes I did drive there as well infact there are a couple of buddies that I know that can vouch for me as well. I only went to the mineral wells event 2 times ever and only cause of the 5 4 hour drive away and work and family buisness. Yea i know it seems like a excuse and you can either choose to belive it or not. All im simply saying is I AM NO NOOB DRIVER and yea you may older and more experinced then me but hey thats what seat time is for right? now this forum has always been cool and will remain cool as well as all the people associated with it. im just asking for some simple track time. Idk how you associated the scion meet with a NST drift demo cause it was a suggestion and not a for sure yes. Now im willing to pay the 50 to 100 buck fee to get some time in. But really who has or can meet all those requirments with there cars?????? thats pretty hih standards for most of us to meet dont you think?

Lets take a pool here and post pics up of your rides currently to date or

#all 4 same matching rims
#perfect paint job
# No dints or ding in body
#no missing body parts (i.e bumpers mirrors or anything that will make the car look funny

And remember dont forget to post pics :D

And to nt66 come on dude i just need to voice my opinion cause its a forum and im at least trying to get some time and better my skills at driving cause we all know we were at the same place with our cars once. right...(wanting to drift and get better but had no place to do it) so i didnt mean any harm or come off to you as a mean person. Hope were still cool

Why are the two of you getting so butt-hurt??? They have a drift event every month in Mineral Wells. I think it's about $40-$50 to drive and you dont have to worry about police, curbs, and everything else that makes drifting on public roads unsafe. You can argue your point until you're blue in the face but it's not going to change the end result... DEMO NOT EVENT

As for the combined meet... it's not really an 86garage meet. More like crashing a Scion meet. I'd enjoy the 4 hour drive down and back and spending a couple of hours meeting more 86 peeps but not really interested in Scions with big wheels and underglow kits.

Jonas... when are you going to get the 86 only meet together? Most of my fellow DFW 86 friends are VERY interested...

alright everyone, just had to play catch up. just trying to take it easy this past weekend.

glad you guys worked out an understanding regarding NST's promotional demos.

now, onto the 86garage meet. i'm waiting to hear back from pecx about a couple of things.

let me work out some details and a location and things to do so i won't feel guilty asking anyone to drive across our big and great state. hang in there. i'm shooting for something really soon here.

i'll keep everyone abreast of things as they unfold.

again, i think i speak for the 86garage.com "staff" when i say we really do appreciate this forum's members.

stay tuned...
