Soooooooo... here's my toy

The day I picked it up.

The original window sticker!

2 years later I bought a donor car

And it begins...

My gts conversion had 240K miles on it when I put it in so it wasn't long before I was have motor problems. The next step...

I made my harness

New valve covers and a TRD 4 to 1

I bypassed the intercooler just to see if it would start and run. And it did but with rod knock

So I bought a second gze and guess what... rod knock. Less than 5 miles between both motors and both have rod knock on both. So what do I do???

Build a motor! I bought a red top crank and rods as the machine shop was unable to reuse mine and ae101 gze pistons. 8.9 to 1!

Assembled short block

Picked up the head on Friday!

Just need a small bundle of gaskets and it will be finished. I picked up some new springs this weekend too. I'll have pics of those and the new differential tonight.
