just make sure they do compression and leakdown tests and have a warantee. otherwise you might get an engine that needs a rebuild

got my BT from JHot in Denton, TX. 1250 + tax for motor, 5spd tranny, ecu, harness. only thing it was missing was an igntor...

when i opened up the valve cover, there wasnt any sludge at all.

talked to the richardson place too, they wouldnt haggle on the price at all...it was 2000 for the BT with the 6spd tranny, or 1800 without.

The place in Richardson has some cheaper BT's now too, I think $1200 for the 5sp tranny version. Their Ebay store is cheaper than their website.

funny that, i picked up my first hi-comp from them on the cheap several years ago.

it was a return because the mechanic said it was the wrong 4ag engine for a job that needed another 4age: the intake ports were too small.

im sure they do wreck cars (especially for the amount of people that are there) but as i understand or what my friend was told is that they are not stored as parts cars and sold as parts. i think they where crushed and used as recycled metal. or at least where my friend was located

they shipped me the wrong motor a few years ago.... i had to drive from corpus to dallas on my own dime to return it, I ordered an EvoIII 4g63 and got a galant auto motor... They refused to correct their mistake untill i was on their door step i guess he didnt think someone wouldnt make that much of an effort for a few suddle differences between the 2
