That soldering iron will do just fine. I would recommend practicing first on something other than the DIYPNP just to get a feel of how the solder melt/bonds to what your working on. Heat can destroy your work very easily. Moderation is key.

Picking up a new battery at lunch and hopefully getting this thing up and running correctly. Gonna move the wide band down farther too so it reads all cylinders instead of just one.

remove the downpipe sheilding and put it at the two to one collector.

You mean the one down right before the cat? Thats the one Im gonna put it at.
I put a new battery in and it still wont start. Yet it starts fine when I jump it off another car. Im thinking my ground may not be good enough. I may move the battery back under the hood instead of in the trunk.

to much of a voltage drop through the posotive wire.
i had the same problem but i just used my old 4 gauge speaker wire that was already in place.
you are really supposed to use 0 gauge or bigger.
and yep right before the cat but not to close to the cat because of the pressure buildup before the cat will alter the signal.

After letting it sit for 10 minutes it randomly decided to start now. We'll see about tomorrow.
