I dont know...

http://www.club4ag.com/faq_and_tech_pag ... rosse.html

this guy talks about it but its weird. He says a complete 4ag with no clutch or exhaust manifold weighs 250lbs. Ive also heard that a fully dressed 4ag with t50 weighs only 350lbs while a fully dressed F20c with tranny weighs 360lbs.

I imagine the weight of the 3sg to be within the 350-370lb range.

i don't know if it might help you decide where to put your money:

my 4age w/ twin carbs, 278° cams, fid flywheel, edis+cop ignt put down 125whp in 3rd gear.

hi-comp, smallport.

i massaged the head a little.

turbo 4age would be a bigger pay off in my book. just ask our local superstar...ahem, um will, that's your queue sir.

for the beams swap do you use the t50? or the tranny thats on it? a six speed corolla could be pretty cool.. I dont know how the gear ratios are, but not being at 4500 rpms @ 80 could be nice.

You use the tranny that comes with it!

But like Jonas says, its not a swap as easy as a blacktop or a silvertop, and even then those swaps aren't entirely easy.

Jonas thats a pretty healthy amount of hp youre making right there. If you want to make power, turbo is the way to go. As far as reliability and cost goes, it is hard to beat.

I just like the sound of ITB's and the response of an NA engine.

the 4age can hit 200 with big cams (hi lift 304° so shimless buckets are called for w/ trd or toda valve springs), built bottom end and high compression.

me, i'd just keep my carbs on there but i would definitely have to up jets with those scary cams. brass guides while you're at it.

if i were to take the money that 3sge beams calls for and put it towards my 4age i believe i can get better than 160 to the wheels N/A.
