help with 1997 es300

my little sister's 1997 ES300 car is acting up. sounds like her transmission is slipping. she says that the car can go into revese but when it goes into drive it just revs up, the car doesn't move. anyways, looking for a mechanic to help her out. car is in central austin at ut. thanks. -sang

has she had any other complants than that? cause usally it will start to slip or hard engagement before it just goes out unless its a seal or a solenoid of somekind
