any do it urself- how to change differential oil.
i got 1.5 kaaz lsd. had motul oil before. going to put kaaz now KAAZ POWER TRAIN GEAR OIL(GL-5/80W-90) - 2L CAN. hopefully that chattering noise will go away.( they said it might help). plus need to change it anyways.

its pretty simple.
There are 2 bolts you have to take out:
Fill bolt (top, opposite side of the driveshaft)
Drain bolt (bottom, opposite side of the driveshaft)
A good practice is to unbolt the Fill bolt first. You dont want to drain all the fluid and come to find out the Fill bolt is stuck and you cant get it out.
Hopefully someone can chime in with the current socket sizes...

i couldn't get the fill plug off my old one so i would take the breather off the top and fill it like that. lol. it took for every.

i don't think its the tires scrubbing i know when my tires are scrubbing,i believe there are the clutch plates making noise it wasn't breaked in right so the clutch plated formed an angle fit causing a chattering sound noise imo.mooreofit wrote:chattering on slow turns?? thats your tires scrubbing cause the rear end is locking. just like a welded diff the lsd do it too.

change the lsd oil. i found out the chattering noise was coming from my lateral bar from T3 there old one called them and they said they replaced all the old one cuz that heim joints has a loose fit the one has a little nipple to put grease thats the old one, the one i have in my car. im probably gonna get their new lat. bar or just get the cusco from PASS. anyways it was not my LSD making noise hehehe.
