Honda civic project

Post by joel26 »

Well i have a 79 civic rhd. and i was wondering what parts could be interchangeable from other Hondas to fit mine like brakes, sway bars, mostly suspension parts.. since in the near future i plan on dropping a b16a2 or b17 in it any advice or info would be really appreciated.. :D

an informative sight for vintage hondas especially the cvcc is here.

i miss my 78 cvcc. that was the car that started everything for me.

honda wiring is simple. very straight forward and tons of info out there. a b16 would totally make that car. suspension mods shouldn't be that difficult either.

The engine bay is TINY in those,a K series would be a a crazy tight fight I expect. The big B series heads might be nearly as tight, honestly I'd stick a sohc vtec in it with either a bump in compression and cam swap for over 150hp in a 1600lb car which would be pretty quick.Or a small snail and about 8psi for about 200hp easy.
