Re: My 86 Hachi coupe
Yeah Im going to have to dump the stock gauge which kinda sucks because I hate having a gauge that doesnt do anything. I also picked up an adjustable fuel pressure regulator today so I can up the pressure for the bigger injectors. Black AEM unit made for a prelude, lovely stuff. If I wasnt using AC or PS I could still use the stock gauge though.

Started putting these in today and they say hand tight only and this is where it puts them. Does this seem right?

It sticks up that much? You'd think ARP would take that into consideration. How much trimming does it require? I'll probably cut the bottom.nt66 wrote:you're going to have to trim the head stud by the distributer to clear it just a fyi

you can't cut the bottom it will mess up the tourque numbers on that one stud. You just have to make the top of that one stud into a cone shape and trim a little on the distibuter. Some people just cut a lot of the distributer I trimmed both on mine.MadeInThe80s wrote:It sticks up that much? You'd think ARP would take that into consideration. How much trimming does it require? I wonder why nobody has done a write up on this??? You would think ARP could correct this or mention it in the install notes.
