Re: 86 race car build
The car was really beat up. it was salvage title when i bought the shell, so the drivers side quarter damage was already there. it had some jenky stuff done it by previous people i fixed up and then swapped. but it had seen a bunch of driving and drifting. and after the last few months of driving with the ca18 i put tons of abuse on the chassis. it was wrecked 3 times, bent, doors didnt open for shit, was cut, welded on modifyed and changed way to many times!

Re: 86 race car build
so..... made some major suspension changes.
Installed my boxed lower control arms, custom shortened steering knuckles, megan tie rods and a tape measure alignment. drives straight, wheel is striaght. about 1/16" toe out. but it drives like a dream! Full lock is wicked cool, NO RUBBING and it does circles like crazy!!! mad angle. i can wait to go drifting. normal driving and handling feels super.
I had a pro welder friend weld these. he beveled the edges and heated it up and welded it. it should never break.
Gonna get better pictures in the sun. my current suspension:
boxed lower arms
shortened p/s knuckles
megan tie rods
battle version nrca
t3 camber plates
energy bushings
trd 8/6k springs
kyb agx shocks
tcs tension rods
