so my mom got a good deal on a solara for 3 grand but its v6 and she thinks it spends allot of gas so now my dad wants to by her a yaris. i keep telling him to get her a newer corolla because i do not like the yaris its like 13 grand brand new but thats the thing it looks like its made like complete crap the body design is stupid cheap hub caps unless u buy it with rims which is like the only good thing. The paint looks cheap everything on the inside is like plastic shizznit. I bet it rides like krap, no offense to any1 it just looks like when indians try to save money buying an older civic and after a few years it looks like a pieced together crap with everything falling apart.
and the back of it looks like a kid with downs syndrome. I am disappointed at Toyota.
i would rather buy a starlet :D plus im talking about a stock yaris, i doubt my mom will drive a trd yaris, and it still looks like it has downs syndrome.
The interior of a Yaris is sooooooooooooooooo cheesy. I ALMOST bought one, I test drove it and was so disappointed. It did not perform anywhere near as I had hoped. Slow, felt like a small car (I'm coming from a 88 civic 4 door) and was not very comfortable. At the time the Yaris was on sale for 13500 just showing up on the dealer lots, and then I went and took a base model corolla and felt very satisfied, cluster was in the right place too! Do everything you can to keep your mom away from the Yaris, the Corolla is so much superior... Look for a 07 model with very low miles and a nice warranty.

the 1nzfe isn't a performance oriented motor it's mostly a gas sipper
The sticker on the window for the corolla base model and the yaris base model was only 4-5mpg diffrence and the quality of the interior was far superior along with tons of space and luxurys. The price on the base model corolla was about the same as a Yaris base model 3 door hatchback because most dealers ordered 6 times more corolla's than yaris's
finally some1 agrees with me, u get a poorly built car that drives like krap and is made very cheaply hey u get what u pay for when its only 12 grand new right
