Disclaimer:
If somebody says this sucks and its a horrible idea-die, since I am the only one that has tried it, you have no right to say it sucks or is a general bad idea. Expect a hell storm of shit if you comment on my design.

keep in mind this is only a temporary fix.

buy new shocks
get a welder, grinder, cutting wheel for the grinder and get ready.

use the short coilover sleeve in the front with the right size coil of your choice-you might have to cut and weld together one of them to make them tall enough.

after removing your front coils, cut off the ends. Weld them to the back coils. be sure to weld both the inside, and outside to ensure they dont break.
should look something like this,:?

thats my current setup and im quite pleased with what it does for the car and all 50$ that it costs

silly guys...

anyway, get better sway bars. adjustable ones at that. i've got an alternative but that's private.

so, better sway bars (whiteline adjustables) are a cheaper alternative.

if you're good with a welder, start spot welding friend.

can i get an amen on that will.

i have been thinking about double sway bars in the rear. ive seen them done on some volvos for autocross. basically take two rear sway bars and weld them together to make one big bar. hvguy any thoughts?

bad idea. overcompensating results. there's a reason why aftermarket, performance sways are a few mm larger not DOUBLE the size or stiffness of factory sway bars.

you're welcome to what ever ideas your unfettered mind may come up with but as it's been pointed out to others: these cars have been around for over 2 decades and have seen many of an overhaul and upgrade engineering by many experienced pro drivers and engineers. you'll be hard-pressed to come up with anything better than the best out there.

why try to come up with a design that someone has already done the r&d and produced optimum results? if anything, take dimensions of existing products and if it'll be cheaper for you to re-produce it than to buy it out-right than do so.

if any of you come up with something better than what's already out there, by-all-means share it with the AE86 community at large and market it.

stiffer springs from swift or trd will do the trick or sways if you have the cash.

well everything isn't...when the cat is let out of the bag :P

besides, i spend time on my ideas and don't really want to just give them away to just anyone or publicly announce them to the whole world.
