laptop crashed

I fried my hd and the prosesser and almost have of the mother board to boot.

ooo thats a bummer... if you want i could run some tests on it see whats good and whats not...

Its an ALIEN-WARE laptop so i just have to send it off to them. what caused it to fry was a heat sync that over heated and melted some of the caps and transisters.

my wives laptops broke and i need you to fix it cory. one of the kids dropped it and the screen dont work no more.

hp dont know what model but it was brand new a year ago if that helps and around 1400 bucks from circuit city.

do you know if it is still under warranty?

you can find the mobel either on the botom light hand corner of the screen or on the botom of the laptop itself near the battery plate.
